I believe that a business’ purpose is to make and do things that make customers lives better and delight them in the experience.
I centre myself around four values.
From 2006 – 2009 I gained my go-to-market experience at 2010 Legacies Now. I brought to market and managed Growing Champions, an athlete sponsorship program connecting future Olympians with businesses. The program generated $330K for 22 athletes in its first year alone.
In 2009 I traveled to China and SE Asia to study the effects of rapid development on a society and learned Mandarin on scholarship in Taipei, Taiwan.
I went on to work for the tech start-up LeveragePoint in 2010, identifying, researching and contacting Senior Executives of B2B firms with $1B+ in revenue.
In my spare time I am the co-founder of SHIFTED, a fundraising event in Vancouver for the charity imagine1day. I also lead an advisory team for imagine1day, helping transform their unique fundraising model into the preferred way of giving for the next decade.
Come summer time you can find me on my road bike panting up the hills of Vancouver, and in the winter skiing down them. At night I’m probably reading one too many books on commerce while roasting a chicken as 70’s soul music plays as the soundtrack to it all.
